Martyn Odell (Lagom Chef)
Martyn Odell, aka Lagom Chef, is on a mission to make cooking fun, accessible, and totally game-changing! This London-based chef and food waste warrior has been in the food scene since he was 15, diving into everything from restaurants and street food to cookery schools and recipe development.
In 2019, he launched Lagom Chef to prove that cutting down on food waste, saving money and eating well isn’t just possible – it’s easy and delicious! ‘Lagom’ is all about balance and moderation (a Swedish philosophy he swears by), and Martyn brings that to life with his creative, no-nonsense approach to cooking.
But where he really shines is social media. With a huge following on TikTok and a natural flair Infront of the camera, Martyn serves up chaotic, high-energy, and laugh-out-loud cooking content packed with friendly hacks and genius ways to use up every last scrap in your kitchen. His vibe? Less “perfect chef,” more “your fun, slightly unhinged mate who makes leftovers cool and cooking accessible and fun!
Beyond the screen, he’s also the co-host of Stuffed!—a wildly entertaining podcast with George Egg where they dive into all things food, cooking mishaps and general banter.
At the heart of it all, Martyn is here to shake things up, inspire people to cook smarter, waste less, and have an absolute blast while doing it. Because life is to be lived, food is to be eaten and laughing makes us all feel happier……The bonus is we might just help the planet along the way!
