Alan Mckenna
lan has been acting in the TV and Film industry for over 20 years and has appeared in numerous productions, ranging from Hollywood movies to BAFTA winning UK television dramas. In 2011 Alan produced THE SOMNAMBULISTS with director Richard Jobson. The film premiered at The London Film Festival where its unique style and bold execution was highly acclaimed.
In early 2013 Alan wrote and starred in the award-winning short film HERE WITH ME, directed by Pete Riski. And later that same year Alan’s feature film script PRESSURE was shot at Pinewood Studios, starring Danny Huston, Matthew Goode and Joe Cole.
In 2014 Alan’s adaptation of Alan Guthrie’s acclaimed novel, SLAMMER, appeared on the Brit List.
In 2021 Alan’s revenge noir thriller series ANIMALS was optioned by Citizen Jane productions in Finland. And ON THE LINE an original script centred around the world of football academies was optioned by Sixteen Films.
In 2024 Alan wrote and directed his first short film. WAKE explores the toxic relationship between an alcoholic father and his teenage son and is currently on the festival circuit.
Alan has also recently sold a TV comedy series in the US and has several TV and Film projects at various stages of development.
Alexis Rose
Alexis is a screenwriter with a passion for ensemble pieces and book-to-screen adaptation. She has been in development on projects with Amazon MGM and Apple, and in 2026 is lead writer on a YA drama adaptation.
She has placed on several notable schemes, such as New Writing North’s Script Development Programme with Channel 4, ITV Original Voices on Emmerdale, Screen Yorkshire’s FLEX and the BBC Writer’s Access Group Digital Programme. She was longlisted for the 2023 Alfred Bradley Bursary.
Alexis is a 2025 recipient of the Arts Council’s Developing Your Creative Practice grant for narrative fiction. She has published the first two novels in a YA urban fantasy series, The Wellbegood Witches, with two more due later in 2026/27.

Marissa Ogbeide
Marissa is a London based screenwriter.
A graduate of the MA Screenwriting programme at the London Film School, Marissa is working on a number of projects for film and TV, including a book adaptation, a feature romantic comedy and a sci-fi TV drama. Her writing has been writing has been longlisted for the BBC Writer’s Room Drama Room and shortlisted for the ITV Original Voices scheme.
Marissa is passionate about developing ideas set in heightened worlds that thoughtfully and imaginatively examine the human condition whilst reflecting the society we live in today. She also works as a Development Executive for film and TV.
Nyasha Hatendi
Nat Froome
Nat Froome is a London-based screenwriter who loves writing bold, playful thrillers with messy female leads.
She graduated from the University of East Anglia’s Creative Writing MA with distinction in 2019 and has since been developing various stage and screen projects while working as a Parliamentary Reporter, including an original political thriller series that was optioned for development.
Nat was nominated for the All3Media New Drama Script Award at the Edinburgh TV Festival’s New Voice Awards and previously shortlisted for Channel 4’s 4Stories. She’s had short plays performed at the King’s Head Theatre and the Pleasance Theatre, among others, and had an original audio drama commissioned for and performed by final year RADA students.
Recently, Nat was announced as one of the ten writers in the 2026 BBC Writers Voices London cohort. As part of the scheme, Nat has developed a returning series.
Nat was also invited to The Almost Show, a scratch night created by Britbox with support from the Edinburgh TV Festival.
