Tori Allen-Martin

Tori Allen-Martin is an actor/writer/singer-songwriter who was listed on the BBC New Talent Hotlist 2017. She co-founded Burn Bright with Sarah Henley, an organisation that aims to level the playing field for women and women identifying writers. Tori is currently writing a musical called Soul Sister and a television drama for Sky called Little Me. The Park theatre also recently commissioned her to write ‘Park Bench’ a two-hander, two part piece to be performed online and socially distanced in 2021. Her one-woman show The Hardest One was in development for TV with Drama Republic and now Duchess Street Productions and Tori has participated in writers’ rooms for Flack (Hat Trick), Beanoverse (Beano) and was employed to shadow Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin on Kate and Koji for UTC as part of comedy’s 50/50 scheme. Tori was commissioned to turn Idris Elba’s miMandela album into a musical, ‘TREE’.

Tori founded her multi-award nominated theatre company Interval Productions in 2009 and has produced eight original theatre productions and an arts council funded season of new writing under that banner, including STREETS for which she received an Off West End Nomination for Most Promising Playwright. Tori is currently in talks with various television production companies about future collaborations, is the book writer on ‘Soul Sister’, a new musical in development with Kilimanjaro, and recently received a Peggy Ramsay grant to write a new play about emotionally abusive relationships. As an actor television includes: Cherry in Pandemonium (BBC1), Billie in London Kills (PGMTV/Acorn TV – BBC later this year) Sandra in Unforgotten (ITV); Libby in Pure (Drama Republic/Channel 4); and Sarah in Cleaning Up (Sister Pictures/ITV).

Eros V

EROS V is a British-Greek writer-director from London, known for making high-octane, all-killer-no-filler genre films. His acclaimed work fuses choreographed cinematography, punchy rhythm and striking comedy, and has been broadcast on Disney+, Channel 4, as well as played at many international film festivals including SXSW, London Film Festival, Lisbon, Sitges, Fantastic Festival, Fantasia, Encounters and more.

Eros’ breakout short, ‘RIGHT PLACE, WRONG TIM’ starring Asa Butterfield (Sex Education), played at LFF 2018 & SXSW 2019 before being broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK. His follow up, ‘DOUBLE TAP’ starring Olive Gray, premiered at SXSW 2020. His short ‘GOOD BOY’, starring Patricia Allison, premiered at Fantasia 2022, and will be released on Disney+ in 2024.

His latest film, ‘MEAT PUPPET,’ starring David Jonsson (Rye Lane) and Máiréad Tyers (Extraordinary) won Midnight Shorts ‘Special Jury Award’ and ‘Audience Award”.

In addition to film, EROS works across commercials, fashion promos and visual art. His portfolio includes work for artists and brands including KAPPA, SKEPTA, CAMDEN BEER, KFC, PHILLIPS & more. His recent horror-comedy commercials for QUICKBOOKS won Gold at the YA British Arrows. He is nominated for Best New Director at the 2023 Shots awards.

EROS’ hobbies include laying on the floor and drinking water. 

Anne Marie O’Connor

Anne-Marie is currently in production on Frauds, a 6 x 60′ heist drama for ITV starring Suranne Jones and Jodie Whitaker, which she co-created with Suranne Jones. She is sole writer and executive producer. Anne-Marie created Sky One’s Trollied which ran for seven series on Sky 1. She co-wrote and executive produced Channel 4 comedy Hullraisers. In 2022 alongside Suranne Jones she co-created and executive produced Maryland a 3 x 60′ drama starring Suranne and Eve Best for ITV. 

Jim O’Hanlon

Jim is a writer and director across film, television and theatre whose work has been BAFTA, Golden Globe and Emmy nominated. His first feature film 100 STREETS starring Idris Elba and Gemma Arterton was released by Sony Pictures worldwide in 2016. Other films include ALL IN THE GAME, starring Idris Elba and Ray Winstone (Tightrope/Channel 4); OF TWO MINDS, starring Kristin Davis (Lifetime); and the forthcoming feature YOUR CHRISTMAS OR MINE, starring Asa Butterfield , Harriet Walters and Daniel Mays, due for release by Amazon in over 180 territories in December 2022. He is currently in development with JANE AUSTEN – THE LAST CHAPTER, an original screenplay written with Simon Reade for Ripple World in Dublin; and MOONRISE, adapted by John Boyne from the novel by Sarah Crossan, currently in development with Leonardo Di Caprio’s production company Appian Way.

Jim’s work in television has seen him direct some of the top actors of his generation. Most recently he directed and was Executive Producer on every episode of the first two series of Apple TV’s hugely successful Comedy-drama series TRYING, starring Rafe Spall, Esther Smith and Imelda Staunton. He also directed the entire final season of Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney’s critically acclaimed Channel 4 series CATASTROPHE (Nominated BAFTA, Best Comedy), as well as directing three episodes of Netflix’s acclaimed Marvel drama THE PUNISHER, starring Jon Bernthal, including the opening episodes of Season 2

Other television directing credits include UNDERCOVER, INSIDE NUMBER 9, IN THE FLESH and QUIRKE, starring Gabriel Byrne and Michael Gambon, all for the BBC; the Season 1 finale of Marvel’s OMENS, for ABC/Hulu; plus all three feature-length films in the Charlie Brooker-scripted A TOUCH OF CLOTH series starring Suranne Jones and John Hannah for Sky (Winner RTS Award for Best Comedy). Jim’s four part BBC adaptation of Jane Austen’s EMMA, starring Romola Garai, Jonny Lee Miller and Michael Gambon, was nominated for a Golden Globe and four Emmys, while HOUSE OF SADDAM, a HBO/BBC co-production was nominated for Four Emmys, a BAFTA for Best Drama Series, and won the 2009 Grierson Award for best drama.

Jim’s credits as a Writer include the critical and commercial smash hit play THE BUDDHIST OF CASTLEKNOCK for Fishamble Theatre Company in Dublin; PILGRIMS IN THE PARK (also for FISHAMBLE); and MY BONNIE LIES and READY OR NOT, both of which were nominated for Manchester Evening News Awards for Best New Play. Other work includes EVEN THE OLIVES ARE BLEEDING (BBC Radio 4); THE BOY WHO BECAME PRIME MINISTER (BBC Radio 3); as well as episodes of CORONATION STREET (ITV) and CASUALTY (BBC). Jim’s original musical WHIRLWIND, with music by Nick Lloyd Webber and James Reid, is currently in development with The Abbey Theatre in Dublin and is due to be performed at the Abbey in 2023.
