John Boyne

The Artists Partnership represent John for his screenwriting and for book to film. John has published 12 novels for adults, a short story collection and 6 novels for younger readers, including The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas which was a New York Times no.1 Bestseller and was adapted for a feature film, a play, a ballet and an opera, selling around 10 million copies worldwide. Among John’s most popular books are The Heart’s Invisible Furies, A Ladder to the Sky and My Brother’s Name is Jessica. John is also a regular book reviewer for The Irish Times. In 2012, John was awarded the Hennessy Literary ‘Hall of Fame’ Award for his body of work. He has also won 3 Irish Book Awards, and many international literary awards, including the Que Leer Award for Novel of the Year in Spain and the Gustav Heinemann Peace Prize in Germany. In 2015, John was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from the University of East Anglia. John’s novels are published in over 50 languages.

Sheila Atim

Sheila is an Olivier-award winning actor, writer and musician, who was named an MBE in 2019 for her services to drama.

She is currently co-writing a pilot with Gina Prince-Bythewood for Gina’s original series (Apple/Skydance). She is also writing and co-directing a feature produced by Ascendant Fox (BOILING POINT) pitted to go into production in 2025, as well as developing her own original TV series and her first short, BLOB (prod. Rasp Films).

Her debut play, Anguis, opened at the Edinburgh Fringe and she’s currently developing a play THE LOST SUPREME with Conch Studios.

Sheila’s screen credits include: Woman King (Sony), The Underground Railroad (Amazon), The Irregulars (Netflix) and The Pale Horse (BBC and Amazon). Her stage work includes the all female production of the Tempest at the Donmar Warehouse, Othello at Shakespeare’s Globe, Girl from the North Country at Old Vic and then Noel Coward Theatres (Winner: the Best Supporting Actress in a Musical award at the 2018 Oliviers, The Critics’ Circle Award for Most Promising Newcomer and the Clarence Derwent Award and nominated for the Evening Standard Award’s Emerging Talent Category and for What’s On Stage Award’s Best Supporting Actress in a Play).

Luis is happiest spending time with his dog, Mucho, usually followed by a good attempt at baking something sweet. After accepting that a professional tennis career wasn’t quite on the cards, he’s recently discovered a surprising talent for carpentry. When he’s not building or baking, he’s likely doing both at once—with mixed results.
