Annie is formally attached as a writer by FilmNation to an upcoming TV series currently in development with a major streamer and has two further original series in development with a BAFTA-winning HETV producer, as well as a TV feature with Reel One. She is part of the Screen Yorkshire FLEX 2022 cohort and placed on the ITV Original Voices scheme with Emmerdale in Spring 2022. She also has industry experience in both development and post-production, across series with the BBC, ITV, and streamers.

She has placed in several contests, including twice in the semi-finals of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences’ prestigious Nicholl Fellowship, with WW2 drama, Operation Gomorrah in 2021 and heartfelt drama Beauty King in 2022.

Annie brings her lived experiences in under-represented communities to write classically British drama with humour and heart.
