Sheila is an Olivier-award winning actor, writer and musician, who was named an MBE in 2019 for her services to drama.

Her debut play, Anguis, opened at the Edinburgh Fringe. She’s currently co-writing a returnable thriller series with Gina Prince-Bythewood for Skydance, as well as developing her own original feature film and TV series projects.

Sheila’s screen credits include: Woman King (Sony), The Underground Railroad (Amazon), The Irregulars (Netflix) and The Pale Horse (BBC and Amazon).

Her stage work includes the all female production of the Tempest at the Donmar Warehouse, Othello at Shakespeare’s Globe, Girl from the North Country at Old Vic and then Noel Coward Theatres (Winner: the Best Supporting Actress in a Musical award at the 2018 Oliviers, The Critics’ Circle Award for Most Promising Newcomer and the Clarence Derwent Award and nominated for the Evening Standard Award’s Emerging Talent Category and for What’s On Stage Award’s Best Supporting Actress in a Play).
