The final series of MEDICI, with Jacob Dudman as Giulio de’ Medici, will land on Netflix 1st May 2020.

Set in 15th-century Renaissance Florence, the visionary Medici dynasty flexes its power in politics and the arts, risking its rivals’ lethal opposition.

The show’s creator, Frank Spotnitz, promised that season 3 would be much darker than season 2.

It is suspected that S3 will focus on Lorenzo seeking vengeance after the brutal murder of his brother Giuliano. Lorenzo will come up against Riario and Pope Sisto IV in his pursuit of vengeance. S3 will also introduce us to Giuliano de Medici’s illegitimate son, Giulio, played by Jacob. Giuliano’s lover was pregnant when he was assassinated, and after giving birth, Lorenzo adopted the child and raised him.
