Alice Wordsworth

Alice Wordsworth is a freelance theatre and film director working across the UK and internationally. Most recently, she directed THE NEXT MORNING (National Theatre), a short film written by James Graham and commissioned to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, and she is currently Associate Director to Ivo Van Hove on ALL MY SONS (Wyndham’s Theatre), starring Bryan Cranston, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Paapa Essiedu.

Alice’s directing credits span large-scale theatre, immersive performance and film. They include ANANSI THE SPIDER (Unicorn Theatre – five-star review from The Stage), AN INTERVENTION by Mike Bartlett (Riverside Studios), SPRING AWAKENING (LAMDA), A LITTLE LIFE AT 10 (Southbank Centre), FISHBOWL (King’s Head Theatre), and HOW TO TRAIN THE PERFECT WOMEN (Shoreditch Town Hall / Camden People’s Theatre). She has also directed multiple productions with Amsterdam on Stage, including DUIZEND SCHEPEN, WE’RE ALL MAD HERE, and LOVE STORIES (Amsterdam on Stage).
