Jonny Blair

Jonny Blair is a Scottish-Irish filmmaker working across film and television. His debut short, The Groundsman, starring David O’Hara (The Departed), screened at festivals worldwide and won Best Film at the BAFTA Scotland New Talent Awards.

Jonny completed an MA in Directing Fiction at the National Film and Television School, where his graduation crime thriller, Come Out of the Woods, starring Joe Dempsie (Game of Thrones) and Nico Mirallegro (Stags), was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award.

Following graduation, Jonny directed multiple episodes of BBC Studios and BBC Scotland’s River City, including several series finales. During this time, he was selected for the BBC Writers’ Scottish Voices scheme before being commissioned to write an episode of the show. He currently has multiple original film and television projects in development.

In 2026, Jonny directed Episodes 4 and 5 of Shetland for Silverprint Pictures, ITV Studios and BBC One.

Jonny is a member of BAFTA Connect and Directors UK.

Sebastian loves film and obsesses over arthouse cinema and independent movies. His company, Pure Anarchy produces film & theatre with strong social and political messages. Sebastian also enjoys travelling, exotic food and most of all spending time with his partner Ola and their cat Maya; and also their friend’s and family. Ravneet has been learning North Indian classical singing (Gurmat Sangeet) since the age of seven, a discipline that has quietly grounded her in music, faith and community.
