Alice Oseman

Alice Oseman is an award-winning author, illustrator, and screenwriter.  Alice is the creator of LGBTQ+ YA romance comic, HEARTSTOPPER, and the writer, creator, and executive producer for the Emmy Award winning television adaptation for Netflix, produced by See-Saw. Season 2 was released on Netflix in August 2023, and Alice is now working on season 3, having written every episode and been involved at every stage, from casting to music. Alice has written several YA contemporary novels about teenage disasters: SOLITAIRE (published when she was 19), RADIO SILENCE, I WAS BORN FOR THIS, and LOVELESS (a New York Times Bestseller). Alice’s YA novels have been nominated for the YA Book Prize, the Inky Awards, the Carnegie Medal, and the Goodreads Choice Awards.

Jessica George

Jessica George was born and raised in London to Ghanaian parents and studied English Literature at the University of Sheffield. After working at a literary agency and a theatre, she landed a job in the editorial department of a publishing house. She now lives in south west London with an incontrovertible sweet tooth and the knowledge that she can consume half a cake by herself if left to her own devices.

Jessica’s debut novel, MAAME, has been optioned by Thousand Voices (Jenna Bush Hager) and Universal International Studios, with Jessica to co-write the television series with Yemi Oyefuwa (EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT LOVE, DREAMING WHILST BLACK).

Tom Stuart

Tom’s directorial debut GOOD BOY starring Ben Whishaw, was shortlisted for an Oscar for Best Live Action Short in 2024. Now available on Disney + and Amazon, the film was directed, written and produced by Tom and selected into several major film festivals. It was Executive Produced by Emma Thompson and Gia Coppola.

Tom’s first feature film as a writer MAINSTREAM premiered at the Venice Film Festival, 2020.  Directed and co-written by Gia Coppola, it stars Andrew Garfield and Maya Hawke. It secured distribution with IFC and Universal and was released in 2021.

His first comedy pilot GET LUCKY was optioned by Tiger Aspect and received a table read for BBC Two starring Dawn French.

His first play I AM NOT MYSELF THESE DAYS was an adaptation of Josh Kilmer-Purcell’s New York Times bestselling memoir. His second play AFTER EDWARD was commissioned by Shakespeare’s Globe and received a full production in their Sam Wannamaker Theatre in 2019. His third play BURN BABY BURN was shortlisted for the George Devine Award in 2021.

Tom is the co-founder, with Ben Whishaw, of OTTO FILMS. His first feature film as writer and director NIGHT SWIMMING will shoot in the Autumn of 2026.

He has several television projects in development and is currently on a writer’s attachment with the Royal National Theatre. 

Tom has worked extensively as an actor for the past 20 years.
