Alex Parkinson

Gemma Addy

Gemma is a screenwriter and story editor. She studied history at King’s College London before pursuing a career in the film industry. While working, she studied Screenwriting at the Met Film School and Script Development at the NFTS.

Gemma was accepted into the UCLA Advanced Writers Workshop in 2017, and her feature films have placed in recent competitions. SPARROW FARM was a semifinalist for the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship in 2019, and she was among the top 10 highest-scoring women. SMALL TOWN won the Bronze Prize at the Page Awards in 2019, and RUNNING was a semifinalist at the Atlanta Film Festival and Page Awards in 2018.

In 2019, Gemma was hired to co-write a television pilot with Alex MacKeith for Banijay Studios. Since 2021, she has worked as a dialogue and story editor on the series MARIE ANTOINETTE (Canal+/BBC). She is currently credited as an associate producer and helping develop Season 3.

Bernice Pike

Bernice has a love for psychology and karaoke, though she is yet to find a way to combine the two. When she’s not disturbing the neighbours with her singing, she’s usually writing her next film script, learning a dance routine, or (very slowly) learning the piano. She also loves rainforests, despite a proven inability to keep a single houseplant alive.
