Alexis is a screenwriter with a passion for ensemble pieces with heart and wit. She has participated in writers’ rooms for Amazon MGM and Apple and as story consultant on series in development.
In 2025, she is participating in New Writing North’s Script Development Programme as part of the NWN/Channel 4 partnership. Previously, Alexis has participated in ITV Original Voices at Emmerdale, Screen Yorkshire FLEX and the BBC Writers Access Group Digital Programme, and was longlisted for the Alfred Bradley Bursary 2023 alongside two consecutive semi-final placements in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship.
She is also Head of Development at Brazen Productions, working to improve inclusivity at all stages of television production both on screen and off.
Alexis is a 2024/5 recipient of the Arts Council’s Developing Your Creative Practice grant to support her narrative fiction writing.
