Our Transitional Life is an LGBTQ+ family blog, challenging society’s misconceptions, one day at a time.

Kelly and Zoey live with their children and two dogs in Cardiff, Wales. The blog was started in 2019 after Zoey came out as transgender. They started blogging to help raise awareness and visibility, whilst championing diverse families. Today, they create content about family life, LGBTQ+ issues, as well as offering support for those who are transgender, and those involved in their journey. In November 2019 they won a National Award from Vuelio for Best Newcomer, and were nominated for the best LGBTQ+ blog in 2020. They were also 2021 finalists in the Cardiff Life Creative business awards.

They are also the founders of KelZo Jewellery, an LGBTQ+ inclusive company, selling handmade jewellery. As well as their jewellery business and content creation, they also provide honest talks and Q&As for schools, corporate businesses and other establishments to help educate and raise awareness for LGBTQ+ and, more specifically, transgender issues.
